I've only really started blogging when I stop posting about blogging...

Okay - so here it is. This is my personal creative and design related website.

I am a techno(logical)-guy. I've been around on the internet (seen it through many revisions) since as early as '94. In 1997 I started to regularly access the internet (only being 13, but I had my own email already). By 2000 I began making simple html websites and learning about CSS.  The internet was close at hand through my whole adolescence, and as a result, I learned how to use and create for it.

There is so much information constantly made available online. You can probably learn (at least the basics) of any practice simply by using the right search engine keywords.  (And since web design is the medium of the web, it makes sense that you'd find even more tutorials, forums, documents, etc on just about every aspect of the subject.)

Now I'm at a point in my life where I know how to make some fairly complicated websites that work well.  And if i can't build it, or i know of a cheaper (or free?) solution that will suit your needs even better - I want you to know about it! I'm not here to run "just another html site building resource and service", but I do have valuable skills that I am willing to provide.  I want to share my media in a meaningful way with the people in my networks, in the hopes of helping better connecting people via this world wide web.

The power of the web is in how open it can be, with individuals having the ability to begin their own website on just about any topic. Anyone can have their voice, but it's not always clear where to begin, or what is the best way to go about sharing or developing an online platform.

I am still learning too, but I want to give back where I can. I also want to highlight and share some of the skills that I've developed online through the years (so new partners have an opportunity to review my previous works, if not learn a new trick or two themselves).

With that in mind - know that this site is far from complete!  I'm still working on adding new content (I have new web & print media that I want to load into the project galleries over the coming weeks), and I will probably constantly tinker with the general layout/media. (If only because it can sometimes be super fun to do A:B testing.) I also have plans to implement an "informational archive" (using Drupal's "Book Page" functionality) to share general knowledge about Drupal websites, how to manage and maintain them, etc.

I have a lot that I would like to share with you. I am passionate about the internet - and about design - and about creating a path for myself that involves the development of both.

I urge you to leave (polite) comments as you see fit. I am always open to feedback, especially if I am able to learn something that might make me a better web designer. Comments are turned on by default on any "project" or "story" (blog post) that I publish.

I'm looking forward to just getting on with this... and publishing more content (both on my personal website and here) just to see what happens! Hopefully along the way, some of my posts may be of interest...

I've only really started blogging, though, when I stop posting about blogging...
